    Bonjour à tous,
    j'ai bien du mal à configurer mon lien wifi. Ubuntu n'accepte pas le mode "restricted" et je ne sais pas éditer le script à modifier; je ne retrouve pas ce qui avait été écrit quand j'avais eu le problème avec la mandriva et que Navy m'avait aidé...
    Y a t il un lien existant?
    ifconfig montre que la clé fonctionne et iwconfig me permet d'entrer le essid et la clé mais pas le channel. J'ai tenté en DHCP et en IP Fixe mais rien à faire. "ifup wlan0" me dit qu'il est déjà configurer. Que faire maintenant?

    Il faut savoir que ndiswrapper puisqu'il s'appuye sur le pliote zindoz n'offre pas forcement toutes les options wifi

    tu as configuré ca comment :
    par l'outil standard ou par networkmanager ?

    sinon, la config d'une interface c'est ds /etc/network/interfaces
    tuas quoi dedans ?

    pour le mode restricted, essayes de l'ajouter sur la ligne
    wireless-key restricted xxxxxxxx
    ( par contre, la clef en hexa, pas de " au debut ou la fin )

    j'ai bien tenté de rajouter restricted. Je n'ai pas de " avant et après la clé, c'était juste pour dire que je masquais ma clé (ça n'a d'ailleurs pas grand intérêt). ça veut pas le faire! après je sais pas ce qu'il faut faire.
    je m'absente quelques jours, je reprendrai ça la semaine prochaine...

    je dirais qu'il y a un pb avec le pilote zd1211
    il etait installé d'origine ?

    autre chose : penses a passer en root avant de faire les manip en console ( par un "sudo -s" ) plutot que de faire sudo a chaque fois, certaines commandes en appellent d'autres qui par consequence ne s'execute pas en sudo parfois

    non, je l'ai trouvé sur sourceforge.net en suivant un tuto de mise à jour du pilote du tew 424 ub. Je peux réinstaller ubuntu si besoin et garder les pilotes d'origine. Penses tu que ce serait mieux? Pour moi, ce n'est pas un problème, je n'ai rien encore sur cet ordi, je commençais par le lien internet avant de m'en servir. Merci

    je n'en suis pas sûr, je ne sais pas faire exactement et en plus je ne connaissais pas "sudo", j'étais sous mandriva avant et ça n'est pas pareil. Je ne retrouve plus le tuto que j'avais suivi, comment faire ça proprement maintenant?

    le mieux histoire d'etre sur que c'est bien un pilote fraichement compilé :
    1- supprimer zd1205/1211
    find /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ -name "zd12*" -exec mv {} /opt \;
    depmod -a
    2- recuperer le dernier en date et le compiler

    ne donne rien, la commande exec ne lui convient pas.
    J'ai récupéré un pilote mais quand je lance make, la commande n'existe pas. Là, je suis un peu dérouté. J'ai trouvé des fichiers avec zd12* dans lib/modules/net et dans lib/firmware, je crois de mémoire.
    comment faire?
    y a t il des how to pour ça si c'est compliqué?

    attention a la commande find, a la fin il y a un \ avant le ;
    et aussi faire attention au espaces

    find{espace}/lib/modules/`uname -r`/{espace}-name{espace}"zd12*"{espace}-exec{espace}mv{espace}{} {espace}/opt{espace}\;

    tu es bien en root ? ( pas en faisant sudo a chaque fois, mais en passant en root par "sudo -s" )

    pour le make, ben faut l'installer
    apt-get install make
