    Bon, vu que le controleur est un TI14xx, j'ai bien peur que celui ci ne masque la carte ( d'ailleur lspci ne voit rien )
    il faudrait essayer de desactiver l'acpi au niveau du gestionnaire de boot

    sinon, pour dmesg je voudrai tout voir

    pour desactiver acpi : je dois bien mettre acpi=off au boot?

    oui

    sinon, il faut essayer aussi l'option
    pci=assign-busses
    qui peut ressoudre le pb de la carte masquée par le controlleur pcmcia

    par contre avec pci=assign-buses et pas apci dans le fichier lilo.conf, miracle la carte est apparu dans le iwconfig

    je m'attaque au point suivant le paramétrage avec la freebox : suspens
    je raconterai les episodes suivants

    c'est vrai qu'en jouant avec certains parametres parfois ca met le bordel

    pour la config avec la freeboite 2 choses :
    1- souvent le dhcp de le boiboite n'aime pas linux, il faut donc utiliser une ip
    2- si tu passes en ip, il faut penser a indiquer manuellement la passerelle ( ip de la fr$$boite ) et les dns ( ceux de ton fai )

    bonjour a tous
    j'ai presque fini ma mise au point . je donne ici un petit resumé de ce que j'ai fait. Je suis partie avec une cle wep basique + le server dhcp actif + routeur sur la free box. j'ai mis en baux permanent l'adresse mac de ma carte wifi (l'adresse mac est sur la boite ou sur la carte)
    .
    1) merci a navy pour la commande pci=assign_buses: j'ai pu voir la carte wifi sur le PC
    2) après installtion du driver rt2500 beta3 recupérer sur sourceforge. il faut compiler l'utlitaire raconfig qui est bien utile

    3)grace a raconfig regarder les reseaux voisin . prendre un canal assez eloigne de ceux existant
    l'utlitaire raconfig permet de définir des profiles . Il faut en définir 1 contenant le canal choisi ci dessus
    4) comme il s'agit d'une connexion avec une freebox.
    NetworkType=Infra et CountryRegion=6 (pour avoir tous les canaux possible)
    une fois le profile définit, essayer de connecter toujour avec raconfig le réseau . si la connexion se passe bien, tapez en étant roont

    dhclient ra0 + return
    si tous va bien , la commande ifconfig ra0+ donnera une réponse du type

    ra0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:13:D3:75:88:75
    inet adr:192.168.0.1 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Masque:255.255.255.0
    adr inet6: fe80::213:d3ff:fe75:8875/64 Scope:Lien
    UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
    on peut surfer sur internet
    pour automatiser l'activation de la carte wifi au boot du linux sur mandriva
    il y a 2 fichiers importants situe dans /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts
    ifcfg-ra0 et
    un fichier situé dans wireles.d qui a pour nom le nom du réseau de la freebox et qui contient la meme chose que le prcédent. J'ai donc fait unlien (commande ln -s ) de l'un sur l'autre. J'ai mis ci dessous une copie du mien

    BOOTPROTO=dhcp
    IPADDR="Pas d'IP"
