    j'ai installer suze 10.0 et j'ai un dongle peabird bien reconnu atmel (at76...)
    Comment faire pour la configurer et la faire fonctionner, SVP merci.
    je ne connais pas du tout Suze

    le ssid n'est pas masqué mais sur mon réseau inventel, j'ai remarqué wu'il fallait toujours que j'attribue une adresse ip à mon ordi distant, sauf avec le dongle d'origine dw-200-b.

    par contre, pas de ifup wlan0 apres ces cdes, c'est redondant

    ce que tu as apres ton ifup ?
    je dirais que le wlan0 configuration doit etre l'adresse mac du dongle
    le reste, la mise en place d'un firewall ( d'ailleur a des fins de test, il faudrait arreter ce firewall le temps de resoudre le pb )

    bien hormis un pb avec le module lui meme, je ne vois rien qui puisse expliquer le "no scan result"
    mais a priori d'apres les log aucun pb avec ce module .....
    donc la seule idée serait eventuellement de mettre a jour le module

    sinon essayes d'activer le debugging
    iwpriv wlan0 set_debug 0x180003
    iwconfig wlan0 essid ton essid
    et regardes dmesg
    et aussi
    iwpriv wlan0 set_debug 0x100003
    puis tjs dmesg
    ( tjs faire un modprobe -r ... puis modprobe avant de tester autre chose )

    en effet, 2 choses bizarre :
    1- le channel 10
    2- le mode 802.11-DS
    en gros, d'apres ce que je comprend, l'association ne se fait pas parce que le BSSID renvoi tjs 00000 meme qd il est forcé, donc le dongle ne trouve pas la borne

    par contre, je ne connais pas le cdes pour ce module qui permettent de rester en 802.11b classique
    fais un
    iwpriv wlan0
    pour avoir la liste des parametres

    essayes qd meme aussi ( avec tjs le modprobe -r et .... avant )
    ifconfig wlan0 up
    iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed
    iwconfig wlan0 channel 11
    iwconfig wlan0 essid ton_essid
    iwconfig wlan0 key restricted xxxxx

    bon, rien de bien interressant au niveau de iwpriv ( en tout cas rien pour gerer le mode 802.11 )

    je ne sais pas, je dois bien l'avouer : sans erreur comment trouver l'erreur

    essayes d'activer le debug comme avant et lances juste le
    iwlist wlan0 scan
    puis regardes dmesg
